Raymond Hains and François Dufrêne

François Dufrene was born 1930 in Paris and died in 1982. He was a French artist, representatives of Lettrism, founder of the poésie sonore and co-founder of New Realism.

The Dufrênes pictorial work consists of panels depicting the back walls of billboards through a Dé-coll / age technique.

He contributed significantly to the development of object art and early forms of action art.
